The Pietta® 1860 Snub Nose Army Revolver is a modified version of the original 1860 Army revolver. Trimmed down to feature a short barrel this variation provides a smaller profile and lighter-weight option for easier transportation and carry.
This model features the same classic .44 caliber design with a fluted cylinder and shorter 3 inch barrel. A unique feature of the snub nose is the removed loading lever that typically comes on the full size 1860 Army revolvers. To mitigate for the removed loading lever a brass loading tool comes included with the revolver.
To provide a beautiful and authentic looking finish Pietta® has blued the barrel as well as case hardening the frame, backstrap and trigger guard.
